Munch Museum + Reptile Park
For our last day in Oslo, we decided to go check out the Munch museum. It was here that we were able to see the original Scream painting that has been seen, reprinted, and reimagined to hell and back. It was an incredible feeling, to see such a famous artwork in person, along with many other original pieces. While the museum displays primarily artwork by Edvard Munch, some extra space was set aside for other more modern artists as well. There was also a room called the Chamber of Chaos that was meant to be used as a playroom for children, but has since manifested itself into a room where anyone can come and relax for a spell before continuing through the rest of the museum.
We had a bit of time left before most museums closed for the day, so we were able to fit in one more attraction. We made the decision to visit the Oslo Reptile Park due to it being open the latest out of the other places we had in mind. Also, the traffic within the city was pretty busy that day, and the reptile park was pretty close to the Munch museum. It was a wonderful experience, and most of us even harnessed the courage to hold a python!
We're making hisstory,
Eli Goodwin
