Going to Gothenburg!

Gothenburg was a city full of museums and galleries, but with only a few days to explore the place we had to be picky about where we went and how much time we allotted to each location. Besides the Goteborgs Konstmuseum, we also went to the Naturhistorika Riksmuseet (Swedish Natural History Museum). Within its walls were taxidermized animals, reptiles, and bugs of all kinds, along with detailed statements about each ones scientific name, region, diet, and other interesting tidbits. Not to mention the dinosaur bones, complete whale skeleton, and outdoor hedge maze.

Next was the Rodasten Konsthall, a smaller museum that doubles as a popular graffiti site. The area surrounding the museum was absolutely covered in graffiti, and the exhibits within its walls were exciting and eye-opening. It was relatively smaller than the other hotspots on our list; nevertheless, we all enjoyed the work on display and were able to take some wonderful shots for our photography assignments!

Grateful for Gothenburg,

Eli Goodwin
